Sustainable Orillia’s Electric Vehicle and E-Boat Show is marking its sixth consecutive year, with a renewed focus on cleaner transportation solutions and a broader choice of vendors that include electric-powered boats.
The much-anticipated event is set to take place on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm, at Centennial Park, located on the stunning shores of Lake Couchiching. It promises to showcase cutting-edge innovations in electric transportation both on land and in water.
Visitors can look forward to viewing electric vehicles (EV) from 10 different brands along with the opportunity to take free test drives of the latest models. Also on display will be e-boats, personal watercraft, and electric surfboards.
Global EV leaders have joined the prestigious lineup of exhibitors, as the growing interest from industry and innovators underscores the prominence of electric vehicles in the community.
The participating vendors will also include dealers of all things electric, who will be eager to showcase their e-bikes, electric outdoor appliances, efficient heating/cooling alternatives, and home electric solutions, and one vendor exhibiting traditional bicycles. Visitors will meet electric vehicle owners who are members of the Electric Vehicle Society and the Tesla Owners Club and hear about their experiences as EV owners.
This year’s show is presented in cooperation with the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Plaza Auto Group (Kia Orillia, Orillia Volkswagen, and Subaru of Orillia), Super E-Bikes, Green Storage, Orser Technical, CIBC, and Jackie Ramler-Executive Wealth Advisors Raymond James.
Adding to the excitement, the Sustainable Orillia Electric Vehicle and E-Boat Show will coincide with the Mardi Gras event at the same location. Experience the fun of Mardi Gras on the shores of Lake Couchiching, featuring a boat decoration contest, live music, an outdoor market.
