Caity Gyorgy (pronounced George) is a two-time JUNO-award-winning Canadian vocalist famed for her bebop and swing stylings. She has performed at venues and festivals across Canada, Mexico, Japan, and the U.S., and worked with acclaimed artists Christine Jensen, Pat and Joe LaBarbera, Jocely Gould, Ira Coleman, and Bryn Roberts, in addition to her collaborator in this show, Thompson Egbo-Egbo.
Acclaimed Toronto composer and pianist Thompson Egbo-Egbo was born in Nigeria and moved to Canada at the age of four. His innate aptitude and affection for the piano began with his first lesson at the age of six and remains with him to this day. Audiences will thrill to the themes of transition and rebirth and the joy and optimism present in his work.
Vicki St. Denys is a leader in the field of jazz dance, and has toured nationally and internationally as a performer, teacher, and choreographer for numerous companies, with a broad array of productions. Her choreography has been featured on television, film, theatre, opera and motion capture projects. She has been teaching at Ryerson (now TMU) since 1991 and has been the Director of the Dance Program there since 2014.
