THURSDAY
Nestled in nature, off a winding, tree-lined road, Vetta Nordic Spa is a class act and one of the gold star Oro-Medonte experiences. This picturesque wellness getaway was created with minimal impact to its surroundings and operates with policies that hold the utmost respect to the Township and Planet. Natural, reusable products are found throughout the property, as well as water stations for you to refill your reusable bottles.
Kick off your extended getaway with an escape to Vetta Spa, plan to arrive late afternoon. They have added a Thursday afternoon spa & dining experience that is the perfect reason to extend your weekend stay. Enjoy a spectacular outdoor spa experience, alternating hot/cold baths, surrounded by soft music and the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. Breathe deeply and embrace this beautiful Finnish practice of warming your soul with a hot sauna, followed by a cold plunge, promoting circulation, decreasing pain and easing muscle fatigue. Not to mention the benefits to your mental health.
Finnish off (see what we did there?) with the Taste of Vetta at 7:00; a Finnish-inspired, four-course dining experience, paired with wine and exceptional service. Taste of Vetta menus change monthly, they provide a set menu, so select your visit date accordingly. *Advanced booking is required.
FRIDAY
After your replenishing Vetta spa experience, a good sleep is required. Sleep in. Recharge. Start your Friday slow and easy with breakfast, maybe a short hike on a canopied trail, or browsing local boutique style shops. For the remainder of your getaway, you have an extensive list of choices. Please remember advanced bookings are required for most activities, plan ahead BEFORE your arrival, in order to guarantee your experience and slow down to relax and enjoy your well deserved vacation.

Horseshoe Resort A variety of seasonal experiences from relaxation at the spa or beach to downhill skiing and biking. They just keep adding more fun! There are probably experiences offered here that you weren’t aware even existed, so check out the list and plan ahead.
Brierley Pottery Make your own souvenir to remember your fantastic getaway experience working together with a local artist – Gary Brierley. (2 hour classes for up to 4 people) Note that this experience requires a return visit to fire and glaze your creations.
Glen Oro Farm Book an incredibly beautiful horseback riding experience through the trails of this breathtaking property. There are three (3) time options and operate all 4 seasons pending conditions.
Hardwood Ski & Bike Embrace the outdoors and the BEAUTIFUL trails with this invigorating experience. Cross Country Skiing, trail biking, hiking, fat biking, snowshoeing, groomer trail tours-equipment rentals available. ** Trail Passes are required. Check online or call for information.

SATURDAY
Looking for some mindful movement to reconnect in a group setting? Book a Saturday morning class to get you warmed up for the rest of your day. (Closed Sundays) Check out Vicki Tree Yoga and balance your vacationing chakras in this incredibly beautiful location. Sign up for a class (or two!) and enjoy an amazing Oro-Medonte Fitness experience. More than just yoga, book a massage, spin class, sculpt and core session, trail hike or snowshoe, located on the edge of beautiful Copeland Forest.
Davidsons Estates Alpaca Farm (All seasons, weekends only )This experience brings you up close and personal with friendly and cuddly alpacas. Extend your alpaca time by adding a short trail walk. The entire outing is less than 90 minutes. This is a private home, address is NOT public and will be sent at time of booking. Note: No public washrooms on site.
Enjoy local brews and great food at Quayle’s Brewery, sign up for a Hops Tour to learn the process (seasonal) and try a flight of beer. Book a Tasting Tour at Heritage Estate Winery & Cidery. These two incredible businesses attract visitors to our area in droves. Don’t forget to check them out while you are here and purchase some gifts to take home. Offering unique experiences of dining, education, event hosting, live music, samples and flights, the trendy atmosphere of these local spots is not to be missed. Hours and offerings change seasonally. Be sure to check websites for current information when you book.
SUNDAY
Time for High Tea! Book a reservation at The Lovely Teahouse and enjoy a spot of tea with finger sandwiches and treats. With available seating times of 11am, 1pm or 3pm, this is the perfect experience to work around home time or to add to another day in Oro-Medonte. The Teahouse is filled with additional shops and Insta-worthy photo ops, so take your time to enjoy the property as you are leaving.
If today is your last day, the Teahouse is located right at the Highway for easy access for your journey back home. If you have more time, how about trying a last-minute booking for one of the experiences you missed? You have all afternoon and evening!
